2014A large linocut (60cmx90cm), based on the School of Athens by Raphael in the Vatican.( in the "Stanza della Segnatura" or "Stanza di Raphaello") The discovery of bookprinting with separate letters considerably enlarged the stage for spreading ideas. The Dutch like to think this was due to L.J. Coster of Haarlem, the rest of the world knows that Gutenberg was the one but however… The influence can be compared with the TED talks (ideas worth spreading) on the internet. That’s what this print is about.
